“As it grows” deals with the densification and the increasing complexity and impact of the visual media and big data and their effects on the individual: an endlessly falling girl is intangled in digital picture floods, the other character mirrors herself and gets lost in the search for identification. Hand drawn animation and Stop Motion meets found footage. The video work makes use of mixed media and has been created for the Radion building in Amsterdam where it was performed live.
